just a wierd question will the costumes come in a plastic bag to carry....cause i wouldnt be bringing any bag and that its wierd to carry the costume in a transparent sheet covering lol

btw tessie can u advise and give a rough guide on washing the costume...especially for mine .. male high priest....

i would also like to ask if washing for the first time makes the material more comfortable on the body or wether it would at least stretch abit or soften

Because you have PVC on your costume, I will suggest just soak and then hang dry for the first time. Put some salt in the water as well so that the colors won't run, ever.

For subsequent times, put it in a washing bag before dumping it into the washing machine, for costumes with intricate designs on them. (For plain old pants, you can just throw them directly into the washing machine.) And DO NOT tumble dry, just stick to cold washing, or else the material may shrink. (I'm not that worried about the gabardine or the microfibre, those are fine. But the PVC parts tend to be very sensitive to heat.)

Usually for costumes that are made completely out of PVC, I either hand wash or send them to the laundromat.

Hi ! my dark purple dress has metal buckles and eyelets. How should i wash it so that the buckles and eyelets won't rust and stain the clothes? thanks !

I'm not sure actually, since it's supposed to be stainless steel, as long as you don't leave it wet for too long, it should be fine.
