Hello there,
I am new to cosplay and I'd love to start out with a great costume. I would really hate to be the lamest rendition of a character at a convention. I want people to be impressed! (but i guess who doesn't?)
I really want to be kazu from air gear, the character i most resemble from the series. My friend will be ikki as he is japanese, and I have a friend who wants to be mikan. still no luck on a bucha, onigiri, or agito.
I am looking for a place to get the jacket, and thats how i found this place. i found the thread of an already comissioned piece, and I noticed that you guys only really use PVC, and i am curious as to the durability and longevity of the material. I love the looks of the jacket so much that i would like to be able to wear it more often than just as a costume once or twice a year for anime conventions. I was really looking for one in leather, and I would be willing to pay $100 for the jacket alone if it was done well, in leather. And it would be killer if the logo embroidered instead of printed or as a patch.
So my quick questions are: how durable is PVC? would it be of sufficient strength to be worn often? and are you sure you can't do leather?
thanks,
-Griffin
